The little boy singer was Gerard Philippe. I found this site which sells old LPs and there seems to be a couple of LPs there which fit the description of what you're looking for. I believe he also rebridged a version the little prince book later on in his life. http://www.rockdiscography.com/possessedbywax/artist/lp_various.html Various Le Petit Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupery (Gérard Philipe) [LP] [VG/VG] 1954 Alouette / Festival [1st Ed. Can.] ALD 25 (M) (1954?) (cream lbl) (mono) (toc) [lil back noise] [Ed. 1959?] (Gérard Philipe, Georges Poujouly, Pierre Larquey) (Orch. Radio-Luxemburg) NL09374 Various Le Petit Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupery (Gérard Philipe) [10"] [G?/VG-] 1954 Festival / Period [1st Ed. USA] FRL 1528 (M) (1954?) France?] (rec. 1954) NL01286 I also found the following site (translated by Google) which has all his music - they may have it in CD by now. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://givcos.free.fr/gp_disco.html&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dle%2Bpetit%2Bprince%2BGeorges%2BPoujouly%2B1954%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8 This paragraph was translated by Google from a French site... "In 1998, Gallimard launched CD-Rom with Sami Frey in the role of l?aviator and Ludwig Loison-Robert in the role of the Small Prince. C?était a large success: 18.000 specimens were sold. In addition to the multiple discs (of which that of 1954 with the voice of Gerard Philippe) and the book-cassettes, the prince reigns on the scenes of theatre and will d?opéra." http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://www.geocities.com/memoiresaintexupery/page7.html&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dle%2Bpetit%2Bprince%2BG%25C3%25A9rard%2BPhilippe%2B1954%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8 Hope this helps |

Regarding the comment above, the French actor Gérard Philipe was born in 1922, and was not a little boy in the 1950s when the recordings described were made. |
