Eddie --

What type of quantitative analyst are you seeking to identify jargon
for? Financial analysts have their own; production analysts another
set; business process consultants yet another set.

Quantitative analysts uses jarjons (words) that their managers may not
understand. I only want to see a list of them that I can write about.

Morgan-Stanley's Australian operation has a "jargon buster" site with
a wide variety of financial terms used by quantitative analysts. It
includes many of the popular financial terms, though it doesn't
include some of the shorthand like PE ratio (though it includes
Price-Earnings ratio). It does include the term "quant guy/girl":
Morgan Stanley
"Jargon Buster"

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DKW) seems to have a more complete
list of financial terms used by quantitative analysts:
DKW
"Glossary"
http://www.drkw.com/eng/glossary/q.php

There's a very deep list of math/financial terms in Matlab's
"Financial Toolbox" for its software product used by analysts, though
it may be too specific to tools:
Plymouth University Faculty of Technology
Matlab Version 2 (1999)
http://www.tech.plym.ac.uk/soc/research/neural/Staff/gbanavas/work/MATLABfinance.pdf

And recognize that analysts in different sectors will have different
terms used, depending on what's being analyzed. The first two
examples above deal with quantitative analysts in the financial
sector, but the example below is for an analyst in government or
defense policy sectors. The meetings summaries here are full of
acronyms and technical references used by analysts:
Washington Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences
WINFORMS Meetings and Events
http://winforms.chapter.informs.org/meetings.htm

Google search strategy:
"quantitative analyst" + jargon
"quantitative analysts" + jargon
"quantitative analyst" + glossary
"quantitative analyst" + DoD

Hopefully these give you some rich resources with which to work. If
any part of the answer is unclear, please request a clarification
before rating this answer.
