Hi, Randy!

Is this the kind of thing you're looking for?

"One type of information service that is offered is pay per call
service. 900 numbers provide for this and carry a fee that is more
than the actual cost of the call. The fee can be by the minute or it
can be a flat fee. Some examples of services provided can include
'adult' services, 'chat' lines, and psychic advice.

Consumers call an advertised 900 phone number to receive the service
or information offered. Usually the fee or per minute charge is billed
to the telephone number from which the call was made and will appear
on the regular monthly telephone bill."

If this is indeed the sort of service you're wanting, I'll be glad to
gather more information for you. If I'm on the wrong track, it would
be very helpful if you could give a few more details about what you
need. Thanks!

Hi, Randy!

I've gathered some information on setting up your own 900 number
service. There are literally thousands of companies offering this kind
of service. I've selected two here, just as examples.

"Features

- Real-time billing to callers phone bill.
- Customize the preamble greeting that is automatically played to callers.
- Forwarding of live calls to any local phone line in the US,
including cell phones.
- Handles up to 99 calls simultaneously, with the ability to expand as needs arise.
- Choose Per Minute calling plan, or Flat Rate calling plan.
- Set the business hours of operation.
- Weekly call reports...

We can handle virtually any type of pay per call program to fit your needs."

than likely we can provide you with 1-900 billing and programming
services. We currently provide custom live and recorded programming
for several successful clients, including clients offering:

When choosing a 900 service provider, please be cautious. There are
lots of ripoff artists out there. I suggest that you look for a
company that has been around for a while, that provides a street
address and telephone number, and some indication that it is a
legitimate business. For instance, the BigHitters site mentioned above
provides this information:

Year Company Started: 1991
Corporate Office: 1717 Kettner Blvd., Suite 105, San Diego, CA 92101
Big Hitters North: Salt Lake City, Utah. Toll Free at 1.888.812.9050
Additional Sales Locations: New York City, St. Martin, Dominica.
Financial Institution: Bank of America, San Diego Main Branch.
Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S Number: 069969371

These books might be worth investigating:

you must first be made aware of your available options for your 900#.

Pay-Per-Call lines. You must choose a Service Bureau that has the

and what you don't, set-up your 900# line on a case-by-case basis,
