I recently acquired an Apple 2e from my girlfriends mother. They claim
that it worked fine the last time they checked, about a year ago. I
took it home and tried to hook it up. There were a few problems: the
nub at the end of the video cable was broken, so i just used an
ordinary RCA cable, and port for the cable to connect the disk drive
wasn't secured to the back of the computer, but I was able to attach
the cable.
So i powered it up, and it beeped and displayed "Apple //2" at the
top. Now it's been a long time, but i remember these machines doing a
bit more than that. My question is, what are some possible solutions
to get this thing working. I have a box of old games and i can't wait
to reminisce.
