I am getting the following run time error after having installed
Google's Tool Bar in MS Outlook. When I open Outlook, it crashes and I
get the message below. Do you know a fix??

MS Visual C++Runtime Library
Program: D:\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more
information.

Hi kbs1036-ga,
  While I have not come across any known incompatibilities between
Outlook and the Google Toolbar, here are some steps you can try to get
your Outlook working again:

    - Try repairing your installation of Office
    - If that doesn't help, Start Outlook with the /safe command line switch
           - In the Start Menu > Run dialog, type the following:
               "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe" /safe
             You may need to change the path to point to your Outlook.exe.

    - If Outlook starts up, them the most probable cause for your
problem, and the possible fixes are:
       -> Corrupt messages in your Inbox.
         Remove the first and last message in your Inbox

       -> Corrupt or damaged Toolbar.
          Rename the file 'outcmd.dat' (after closing Outlook) to
'outcmd.old' then restart Outlook. This will reset your toolbars, and
if they are the cause of the problem, then it will go away. Otherwise,
close Outlook, rename the .old file back to .cmd, and you will have
your toolbars back.

       -> Damaged custom views
          Run Outlook with the /cleanviews command line switch. In the
Start Menu > Run dialog, type:
         "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe" /cleanviews
         Note your path to the outlook.exe may be different.

       -> Problematic Add-in
          Go to Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Add-ins and
uncheck all the add-ins. Close and restart Outlook, then add the add-ins
one by one (closing and restarting Outlook each time) until you get to the
problematic add-in. Uninstall and reinstall the addin to see if it
starts working properly.

============================
Try out the above steps and see if they help fix the problem. If they
do, I will post this solution as an official answer.
If you need any clarifications, just ask!

Regards,
Theta-ga
