They are all surnames of former headmasters of Rugby School (the
English school where Rugby Football was started in 1823, and after
which the sport of Rugby is named).

Strictly speaking, JEXBLAKE should be hyphenated ("Jex-Blake"), and
FORDE is usually written as "fforde" where the "ff" is not a pair of
lowercase Fs but an orthographic variation of old English that endures
in surnames even occasionally today.
