Say G**glenut ... It's ages since we corresponded ... Hope you are well.
Let's suppose that you and I were going to set up an Amazon-type site ...
Now, please spell out the technologies we'd need ...
Is it Linux?
Is it Mysql?
And is it Front Page (I'm only joking)?
And should I update my Apple II?
I reckon that with your money and my brains, we should do well in business.
OK?
Warmest regards

Hi Bryan!!
I?ve been out all day and I am just now noticing your question. Thank
you for thinking of me. I am well. I drop in and answer a question
every once in a while.
I do read your questions as they come through, however they are
usually not something that I can answer. Your question here is also
not one I can answer. You may notice that the questions that I answer
are never in the computers category (except maybe one relatively
simple Excel question).
I can tell you how to shop on Amazon, but that's about it. ;-)
I'm sure one of the other brilliant researchers can intelligently
discuss Linux and Mysql (whatever that is).
Thanks again,

Hi, G**glenut
Great to hear from you again.
OK, so let me change the question ...
Tell me about this Excel thing ...
Will it run on my Apple II; my Superbrain; and my Commodore 64?
Warmest regards
Bryan

Well Bryan, I'm not an expert but you may have to upgrade your
computer to use Excel :-).

No problem!
Except I am very short of cash, having just bought a great 'flat panel' monitor.
Any chance of a loan?
