How much money has the State of Ohio spent toward the support of

One point of clarification, if you don't mind: When you say "toward
the support of colleges and universities," are you referring to how
much money taxpayers spent on direct funding to state schools? Or do
you have a broader definition of "toward the support of" than that?
Would you mind clarifying?

Knowing how much money Ohio taxpayers spend directly funding state
colleges and universities would sufficiently answer my question.

Knowing the same for private colleges and universities in Ohio is also
intersting and would be a nice kicker, but is not necessary.
