Howdy loulou49-ga,

If you check your Internet Properties settings (Start, Settings,
Control Panel, Internet Options, then the Programs tab) is Outlook
Express set as your E-mail program, and is Internet Explorer set
as your browser?

It's a pain! Step 1--Right click on link. Step 2--Right click on or
highlight "cut" or similar word meaning to take out. Step 4--Go to a
page where you can access a browser and click into browser box... Step
5 --Right click again on "paste." That should do it!

Don't know if this question is dated or not but,  my outlook express
was doing the same thing. this is what I did to fix it....Click START,
CONTROL PANAL,INTERNET OPTIONS,PROGRAM TAB...CLICK ON "RESET WEB
SETTINGS" TO set THEIR ORIGIONAL SETTINGS if you want to keep the same
start page,uncheck box..... good luck,
