Hi, first of all Nicotine is derived from PySLSK[1]. PySLSK uses the WxWindows toolkit, which is cross platform, whereas Nicotine uses GTK2+. GTK+ (version 1) and GTK2+ have been ported[2]. Python is used by both and is ported to MS Windows at well. You might have more luck with PySLSK. Personally i'd start with Cygwin[3] and try to download everything from there. You can also contact the developer of Nicotine for help. If you can't get it running natively, you can also use something like coLinux[4] which "emulutes" the program instead. End result is, it does run. As i don't run MS Windows myself i can't write a straightforward howto for you. I hope someone else can help you futher. Good luck!
