I would like to apply glycerine soap to rose petals....is there anyway you know of to do this process? Could they be sprayed or dipped? | |

Hi bobrjr, The secret to suspending flower petals in melted glycerine is to wait until the glycerine begins to gel again (consistency of sour cream), you will then be able to suspend the petals in the gel. I've never made soap, but I do have experience with making candle and it is the same idea. It will take awhile to judge "when the time is just right", but your soap will be lovely whether the petals float, sink or suspend.
