Under a time crunch and need some help trying to find *ANY* way to get the onboard (K8V Deluxe motherboard) 3COM NIC to work with the Windows 64bit Public Preview. Without a network connection, really can't do much. CPU information: Socket 754 for AMD Athlon 64 processor with built-in 1MB L2 Cache, AMD64 architecture that enables simultaneous 32-bit and 64-bit computing. I tried to install the 3com drivers for this NIC, however they were the 32bit drivers (not sure 3com makes a 64bit version yet) and Windows said it could not install the driver 'not for this platform' |
