I am looking for a parallel Italian/English Bible. Any version you
can find (if any) will be suitable. By parallel I mean side by side
in the same book, designed around comparison.

Thanks!

To clarify, I would like it in book form. :)

Would a New Testatment from the 1940s be sufficient? I have found one
for sale, with Italian and English in parallel columns as you
requested.

Incidentally, the Italian translation is from the early 1600s; I'm not
sure how updated the English translation is, though perhaps I can
figure that out.

In reference to justaskscott-ga, I was moreso looking for something
recent, and I understand that if something is just not made, its just
not made. I have been studying Italian for a year now, but I think the
Italian language in the 1600's, if it in anyway resembles the English
language in the 1600's, would just confuse me :) (very interesting
find though!)

kriswrite-ga, thank you very much for the information!

Dear Breflection,

I've found an online version of an English Italian parallel Bible, but
unfortunately no prnted one.

Would you accept this as an answer?

No those are easy enough to find. I go to an Italian/American church
and since we say everything in Italian and English (including prayer
song and reading scripture) I am looking for something I can tote with
me that will also help me learn Italian.

There is no answer at this time.

Hi Breflection~

Although I may be proven wrong, I doubt that you'll be able to find a
parallel Bible in the Italian and English languages. The reason for
this is that parallel Bibles are used to show the original language of
the Bible alongside English translations; Italian was not one of the
original Biblical languages. :)

Good luck!
