I would like to edit my site (let's say http://www.mysite.com) via
WebDAV, under Windows XP.
I can access that location without any problem under Windows 98 web
folders, and on Macintosh.
I can access SUBFOLDERS like http://www.mysite.com/somefolder/ via
WebDAV under Windows XP.

But when I try to access the root dir like that, Windows XP decides
I'm talking about a SMB location, changes it to \\www.mysite.com, and
fails.

This is a well known problem, it seems, but there doesn't appear to be
a well known solution. Can you find a workaround for this?
