I need someone to write a phrase for me in Japanese calligraphy. The
phrase is "I'm huge in Japan". I need it in black ink on white paper.
I don't want blocky Japanese calligraphy, I want really nice, smooth
brush strokes. Ideally you would be able to write the phrase so that
it was on all on one line and about 10 inches long. Ideally you would
be able to scan it at a high resolution (300dpi +)and simply email it to me. |

Also, you want the English words--"I'm huge in Japan"--transcribed,

Getting the translation right is more important than the calligraphy
itself (which is easy enough for me to get, since my mother-in-law can
do that stuff...) What kind of translation are you looking for?
Something sophisticated, something low-brow? Are you looking to play
off the "huge" pun somehow?

We want it written vertically. We are looking for a fairly
straightforward translation that means "I'm huge in Japan" meaning
I'm very well known, enormously popular in Japan, unless there is some
Japanese pun that we don't know. If you could be more specific about
what you mean by sophisticated and low brow translations.

For example, "huge" might also be a reference to one's genitalia. So
you might say "dekai", with the emphasis on the "large" meaning of
"huge". If you're looking to emphasize that you are famous, a word
like "yumei" would be more appropriate.
Are you looking to say this with some bragging bravado, or do you just
want to matter-of-factly state that you are famous?

Also, since this will be written in Japanese, does the phrase "in
Japan" have to be there? I ask because if that is explicitly written,
it makes the writing longer, and the individual characters will be
smaller as a result.

We want it to say simply, "I'm huge" and it should be in reference to
one's genetalia.
Are you able to scan the artwork at a high resolution (300dpi+) and
email it to us, or would you be mailing it? Just curious.

I would be able to scan it, but Google Answers rules forbid us from
directly contacting customers. Would it be acceptable to place the
image on the internet and have you download it from a URL?
