Do you want original production blueprints for the Widgeon (like a
collector might seek for their value)?

Or are you seeking aircraft schematics for maintenance and repair?

Obviously the former is harder.  Though I don't know who MRO authority
is for Widgeons, I do know of at least one shop that's an expert in
refurbishing Grumman amphibs.

I am a builder of homebuilt aircraft.  I want the plans for the
Grumman G-44 Widgeon for the purpose of building a full size replica. 
So the plans I need ought to be very detailed.

I have found an exact scale 3-View Drawing of the Grumman G-44
?Widgeon? (A)2. The drawing is highly detailed and is an accurate
working print with all dimensions, specifications, airfoils, cross
sections, templates and color schemes. It will look similar to this
image (NOTE: This image is an example and is NOT a Grumman G-44
?Widgeon?)

I also found a number of manuals including Erection & Maintenance Instructions
for the Ranger 6-440C-5 Engine, pilot's handbook, window installation
instructions, parts list and more that I can add to the link above if

cannot see the finished product. I do admire your courage in your
quest to recreate this amazing aircraft and I sincerely hope that you
succeed, in some small part, due to the assistance you received here.

WIND CANYON BOOKS offers a fantastic scale 3-View Drawing of the
Grumman G-44 ?Widgeon? (A)2 by Paul Matt for $17.00 (US). Each set is
2 - 6 sheets (18" x 24"). As an option, you can have the print shipped
to you rolled in a blueprint tube, but you must specify this at the
time you order, otherwise the drawings will be folded rather than
rolled.

G&P SALES is an RC (remote control) company but their ad says they
ship the FULL SIZE PLANS with their builders? kit. You might also
check with this company to see if they can provide you with something
useful. The RC builders? kit is very expensive ($1200.00) but you may
be able to work something out with them to get the full size plans
only.
