When you say "the leading corporations," what are you referring to?
Top sales? Highest revenue? Best customer service?

The website I found most useful for your purpose lists the leading
corporations headquartered in each state, gives their ranking in the
top 1000 largest corporations IN THE WORLD, and provides links to
their annual reports.

Go to:
http://www.areport.com/
Using advanced search, select country (United States). Then search state by state.
