I am trying to find out if my nephews organs have been used for
research without consent. His name was Terence John Rowley born of 13
Acersfield Road Little Hulton Worsley Manchester England at Hope
Hospital Salford Manchester on 3/8/1964. He died following a road
traffic accident on 17.7.1967 aged three years at Bolton Royal
Infirmary. I have heard so much about the misuse of organs and have no
way of finding out.
Answer
There is no answer at this time.

There are always ways of finding out these things. Have a look at
http://www.nhs.uk/retainedorgans/startinquiry.pdf

Bear in mind that hospitals will only give out information to family
members so no one else would be able to find this out for you.

thank you for that olly. I didn't think about confidentiality and
information only being given to parents. I have visited the website
that you sent and found the information very useful, which I can pass
on to the parents. Many thanks for such a speedy response particularly
on such a delicate issue.
