In which year were League Matches last played on Christmas Day in the
English Football Leagues? 1953,1955,1957,1959,1963,1965,1967,1969,1973
or 1975.

I need the answer by 10pm on Friday 20th of February.

It seems that the answer can be no earlier than 1965.  According to
the following Flash web page -- if you go back in the calendar to 1965
-- Blackpool defeated Blackburn 4-2 on 25 December 1965.  This
calendar also indicates that there were no Premiership matches on
Christmas Day in the following years up to 1975.

Unfortunately, this page gives historical data for the Premiership
only.  Perhaps someone can find similar data for the other English
leagues.
