Hi frogbaron,
Download this driver:
PC Drivers for Windows XP/2000 (Aug/28/2002):
"This driver adds full functionality and support for the SW1000XG and
DS2416 under Windows 2000 and XP. It fully supports ACPI MULTIPROC
mode (multiprocessor support), low latency KS Mixer streaming (as
found in Cakewalk SONAR), and ASIO support for ASIO compatible Windows
XP/2000 applications."
ASIO & WDM Driver for Windows XP and 2000 - swdsxpupdater.zip (2MB)

That should do it, but if not, please post a clarification request
before closing/rating my answer.
Thank you,
hummer

Thanks for this Hummer
I actually did download the driver, but it just won't install. For one
thing it's clearly not happy about the files being unsigned, but apart
from that it gets as far as asking to be directed to appropriate
yswds.sys file and promptly crashes and reboots. Very frustrating. Or
am I missing something vital when trying to install?
Many thanks again for your time.

Ok, FB, let's not give up yet. Did you have a look at the "Read Me"?
Installation sounds pretty straight forward but perhaps you'll find a
clue or two to your particular situation.

Hi Hums
So far so good - tried another PCI slot and re-installed following
instructions more closely, this time with more success. However now
when I try to run the software that came with the card (XGworks) I get
the following message:
The procedure entry point FT_Exit4 could not be located in the DLL KERNEL32.dll.
Any ideas?
Grateful thanks for your continued support.

Good morning, FB,
Good work! Sounds like you are doing just fine without me but I'm hangin' there.
What version of XGWorks do you have? If it's previous to V.3, try
downloading the demo version of XGWorks V.3:

V.3 needs a patch for Windows XP:
