I can give you the 'when' and 'where' but not the 'how.'

Would you accept two out of three?

I was born in Mondovi WI and knew some of the Quarberg family. I have
been reading a book called, "The Old Timer", written by my long-ago
dentist now deceased. In the book he indicated that no one knew what
happened to Linc. I went on line and found only a small bit of
information about Linc. But not the details of his life and/or death.
I guess what I'm really after is as much information as some one
could give to me. So, yes I'll take two out of three. Thank you very
much.

Quarberg is such a rare surname and Lincoln is such a rare first name
that we can be sure that this is the Lincoln Quarberg that you have in
mind. The fact that his Social Security Number was issued in
California is consistent with the fact that he was working in
Hollywood in the 1930s when Social Security went into effect.
