I need your help again with this translation, please! |

Dear leander1, Here is your translation: "View of a support's long side. 42 reamed bolts fix a steel blade, embedded sandwich-like in the support, with a U-profile welded on its coign; at the profile's muffs, the box girder elements of the storey ceiling are fixed edgeways. Like the storey ceiling, the roof consists of box girder elements which are connected with the supports edgeways. The picture shows a "central support"; the crack between two roof elements is meant for housing electric installations and lighting. Upper picture: For the closed front facades, box girder elements have been used likewise. They also serve for bracing the structure. Lower picture: The roof elements are attatched to the supports' long sides by reamed bolts via the extended wooden BS-[this acronym seems to stand for a proper name; Scriptor] beams of the box girder elements." Best regards, Scriptor |

Could the term BS-Holz refer to Brettschicht Holz? This is made by laminating smaller wooden strips into one large beam, to enhance mechanic properties. See for example: (in German, I'm afraid) http://www.brettschichtholz.de/01_wasist/framelayout.htm |
