I am looking for some links in English or French regarding the artist
Ha Van Vuong, most likely to be a Vietnamese or Indonesian painter. I
DO NOT want to buy any posters ! I already have an original oil
painting by this artist. I have checked with the auction house
Christies but they cannot help.

The artist painted The Drummers and The Mandolin, these painting have
been extensively reproduced as posters and are easily found for sale.
I cannot find any record on the painting I hold, representing 3 Asian
ladies selling (or cooking) rice. If you find any kind of information
regarding the market value of the artist's work I would be grateful to
hear about it. Many thanks.

I have located a firm that does art restoration in the UK that has "Ha
Van Vuong" on a list of artists whose work they have restored.

See their website at http://www.studioarts.co.uk/zahler.htm

Or, send e-mail to richardzahler@hotmail.com

Perhaps they can direct you to their client who might be able to
assist you in appraising the work you own. Good luck.

Many thanks for this comment. However I cannot get any answer from Mr
Zahler, he does not answer the telephone and his email address is
absolete,I have tried writing but to no avail.. he may be no longer
working (?) so no luck there. Would appreciate any help if possible.
Many thanks
