I want to use the Google API to pull images also, and allow user to
scroll down to see text results with active links. I want the image to
be prcisely sized, and if an engine is needed -- processed using
ImageMagik, Gimp, or another open source engine. I want to also be
able to pull the images from a standard google search for web sites,
news, etc. Pull and re-size images in the order they are listed. The
Google API is pretty powerful, might already have the ability to
deliver the right size (but probably not).

See attachment, and non-disclosure and confidentiality is assumed by
reader. I'll pay $20 for the Google API version, but I'll pay $100 if
you also create an mySQL interface, for a database format that is
simple, with only five to ten fields. This needs to run on Linux, of
course, so please use a development language that is Linux compatible,
but obviosly has Active-X capability.

Of course, it would default using the Google image search engine
results, but allow publisher to switch it to Google web (display
images in order of stack), News, etc.

It needs to be very fast, so performance is priority here. I can't
post mock-up but if you look at the google tool bar, just image it
being twice as high, and having a thumbnail image to the right of the
search boxes and pull down (see image block on the right of the
illustration below:

Basic Layout of toolbar:

It is an interesting concept you have described here, I wish you all
the best in creating it.

The purpose of my Comment here is to point out something that may be
