When I visitited Tehran in 1975, many offices exhibited a photograph
of the Crown Prince, as a young boy, dressed in an exquisite
embroidered jacket. I am looking for inspiration in the design of an
embroidered jacket myself and would love to find a copy of that
photograph, preferably digital in reasonably high resolution. I have
done my best to search Google Images without success.
Can anyone help? |

Is this the photo you are looking for? It's not very high resolution
but if you are happy with it I can post it as an answer for you.

Thanx tutusdad.ga, but sorry none of those three. The first two look
about the right age, but the jacket was not a military uniform. Any
other ideas?

No, the prince is not wearing an embroidered jacket. Also (new
information) the photo I seek is of the prince alone (full or three
quarter face), aged about 13, I would guess.

To summarize the information to date: the photo I seek is of the prince:
alone;
aged about 13;
dressed in an ornately embroidered jacket, perhaps cloth-of-gold, of
no military aspect, buttoned to the neck (one could almost imagine a
pop star such as Elton John wearing in (no disrespect intended :-) );
posed full or three-quarters face;
The photo was VERY commonly exhibited in Tehran offices in 1975,
Thanx for your efforts so far - cheers - avhfj

Being Geocities pages, the images might have exceeded the daily
bandwidth when you checked them. Try again. I just loaded them and
they all seem to work fine now.

No - still doesn't work (12 noon EST 2/23/4). Perhaps my question has
generated a lot of traffic for the site :-) I'll try again early
tomorrow. Are you sure you don't have access privileges that I don't?

Some of the sites won't open for me today either, but don't fret. I
don't think any of them are of interest to you based on your more
detailed description.
I am still looking though.

Do you recall the color of the jacket? Was it gold in color, red, or
perhaps some other color?

I'm a little hazy on colour - I think it was more gold than anything else.
