When I try to run sim city 3000 (which ran for months), I now run into
the following message.
C:\program files\maxis sim city 3000 unlimited\ apps\
ScenarioCreator\SimCity scenarioCreator97.MDE
Specified File not found

What should I do?  I'm ignorant, so no directions can be too elementary

Did you install Microsoft Access 2000 since you last used
Sim City 3000 Unlimited successfully?

Install the software again, if you can. This is quite likely to
resolve the problem if you have not already tried it.

If that doesn't do the job, click on My Computer, then on drive C:,
then on Program Files, et cetera, until you reach this location:

C:\program files\maxis sim city 3000 unlimited\ apps\
ScenarioCreator

Look for a file called:

SimCity scenarioCreator97.MDE (you might not see the .MDE part)

If you do not see this file, then something has indeed removed it; but
installing the software again ought to clear that up for you.
