newbie2004-ga:

Thank you for your question!

The newest version of OS/2 for PC clients is OS/2 Warp 4.0, released
in 1996. See here for a bit of the history behind OS/2:

IBM also released versions of OS/2 intended for servers, with the
newest version there being OS/2 Warp Server for e-business. This was
released in 1999:

While IBM has not released any new versions of the client OS since
1996, nor of the server OS since 1999, they have publicly committed to
providing support for OS/2 Warp through 2006:

http://www-306.ibm.com/software/os/warp/strategy/#ToC_4

This means that they will continue to issue driver updates and tweaks
as required to allow primarily their corporate customers from becoming
dissatisfied and moving away from IBM completely.

I hope this helps!
