Ophthalmologist Dr. Kathleen Mahon was a staff member at Columbia
Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and former vice chief of staff at
Sunrise Children's Hospital. She treats patients ranging from neonatal
infants to adults.?
?Mahon currently serves as chief of the Division of Ophthalmology for
the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and president of the
Clark County Pediatric Society. She is the former national chairwoman
for children's vision for the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Additionally, she was instrumental in founding the local Ronald
McDonald House, and is one of the Lied Discovery Children's Museum's
