Question ID: 309792
I am looking for a source to buy boxes or plastic containers for
storing papers. They must be EXACTLY the length and width of a
standard 8.5 x 11 inch piece of paper (or actually the fraction of an
inch larger that
allows them to fit in the box). I do not want to custom order boxes and
have them made - but am searching for boxes/storage that already
exists. I can't seem to find boxes or plastic or particle board
containers made to EXACTLY fit paper (no, not 9 x 12 or other boxes
large enough to hold papers, but boxes to hold them snugly). I
actually go out and buy half-cases of paper to get the large boxes and
buy quantities of resume paper to get the small boxes. As a note, the
one source of which I know is to get boxes from is copy shops - they fit
exactly. However, they are made of VERY lightweight cardboard and will
not hold up for storage. I am looking for a storage solution that will
hold up for mid- to long-term use. Ideally, they should come in
multiple sizes to hold from say 50 sheets to a ream or two or more of paper.
Anyone with a lead is greatly appreciated!

How are you planning to store you paper? If you're dropping it
straight into the box flat, it may be difficult to fulfill your
request.

OfficeDepot has many different storage solutions for papers, however,
they are meant to store paper end-to-end so the boxes don't exactly
meet your measurement requirements.

Check out the two links below and see if any of these might be useful
to you, I'll keep looking for the other measurements in the mean time.

Thanks for trying but neither of the suggestions are even close to
what I am looking for. Again, I want a box that is, in length and
width, meant to EXACTLY fit standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Thus, the
box would be 8.5 inches wide (plus possibly a tiny fraction of an
inch), by 11 inches long (plus possibly a tiny fraction of an inch),
by anywhere from a 1/2 inch to multiple inches high. I want to store
piles of paper - in piles.

To be even more specific. I do not want to put the paper in hang
folders or manila folders or binders that then fit in the box. The
only thing that fits in the box I am seeking is the paper itself.
