How can I transfer programs recorded on my Tivo DVR to my computer hard drive, with the end goal of recording it onto DVD? (I know ther are tivo machines that burn dvds but I don't want to spend $1,200 for one) |

That is a start, although what I am seeking is only aluded to in the postings and not actualy spelled out. I need it spelled out. Thanks |

The best place to find out about this sort of thing is at the dealdatabase forums. http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/ Much depends on the type of TiVo. For example, the DirecTiVo encrypts recordings so you'll need to add a module to not scramble them. See also tystudio. Regards Nigel |
