Hi deedub,
If I understand your question, doing a Find and Replace search for
both problems should solve them, but first try "Paste Special" as
"Unformatted Text" and see how that goes.
Find and Replace:
1) Full returns at the end of each line instead of text wrap
Edit / Replace / Find ^l / Replace with a space.
2. Those little degree symbols that appear here and there in the text.
How can I get rid of these without going through line by line?
"Those tiny circles are not degree symbols; they're non-breaking
spaces, and you can search and replace on them just as you can on any
other character.
The keystroke is Shift+Ctrl+Spacebar -- or you can select the special
character "non-breaking space" in the replace dialog box.
If you try this and the search and replace utility still insists on
finding every space in the document, fine. Replace it all with
spaces, then replace two spaces with one."
