Dear Rai,

Jonathan Hellewell, as mentioned by Manticore in their comment, is
"Non-Executive Director, City Gateway Limited (a Christian charity
which runs work training courses). Employed by the Conservative Party
in the Private Office of the Leader of the Opposition. Overseas visit:
12-16 November 2003, to Berlin for conference on 'Redefining Europe in
the 21st Century'. Hotel and economy class flights paid for by
Dräger-Stiftung.". (SOURCE: UK Parliament,

He is also a member of the Conservative Christian Fellowship (CCF) and
alongside Alistair Burt MP was one of two CCF members in Iain Duncan
Smith's office. Before his employment in Howard's office, he was
working as secretary for Bernard Jenkin (MP, Conservative), and since
2000 he's a trustee of City Gateway Limited

Hellewell suffered a bit of a political misfortune lately. Last
November, the National Secular Society reported: "So much for the
power of prayer. The Conservative Christian Fellowship last month
asked the party faithful to pray for Iain Duncan Smith and his team.
One read: "Pray for the two CCF members in his private office -
Alistair Burt MP and Jonathan Hellewell." Not only is Hellewell,
former personal assistant to IDS, looking for a new job, but he has
also been removed from the Tories' slate of candidates for the next
Euro election. He hoped to stand in the North East, but the number of
candidates has been cut because of EU expansion." (SOURCE: NSS
