I am looking for information which could lead me to obtain a copy of a
specific television show -- possibly the producer or production
company or some entity which would keep a copy on file.
My memory on the program is foggy, so any of the following bits of
information could be incorrect, but cumulatively they should lead
someone to the right program.
Aired around ten years ago (?) and titled "The Gift" (??). Show
blended "The Candid Camera" with good Samaratin-ism. Situations were
staged where normal people were asked to perform kind deeds. Person
who performed them was then surprised by host, who gives them "the
gift" -- a clear suitcase full of money (10,000?). I remember an
episode where a man was asked to guide an elderly or blind person
across the street, and he ended up helping the person for a most of
the day! Show could have been a pilot only which never took off,
because I never saw more than one episode. I believe it aired on
network television on a weekend afternoon (?).
For a lesser amount ($15), if someone knows just the program title,
when it aired and with which network, that would get me going on my
own research. |

The market the show aired in was Denver, Colorado. And I'm inclined
to believe it was on network television, either ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX or
UPN, although the last two were only in their nascient form, if they
existed at all. Could have been a syndicated show on Denver's Channel
2, now UPN.
