"EEKC has produced thermoplastic paint (road marking paint) in Sweden
since 1998 in one of Europe's most modern plants. The raw materials
are mixed as required to produce different grades and colours, to suit
a wide range of climatic conditions.
The paint is delivered in the form of 10 kg blocks, 20 kg sacks of
granulate or in 400 kg bulk sacks. After melting and application at a
temperature of 190 - 210 °C, it forms a tough, wear-resistant layer
suitable for use in heavy traffic conditions: naturally, in any colour
desired. Application can be by various types of equipment, as
described below.
> Extrusion by machine for longitudinal lines
> Application by airless spray for longitudinal lines
> Manual application for transverse lines
> Application of prefabricated symbols - special laying of transverse lines
