Hello Survivor2000-ga,

Although I found some evidence of a problem of people committing
suicide at gun ranges in the Los Angeles area, I have found no
evidence of a law such as the one that you have described.

Information about the suicides can be found through a search of the
Los Angeles Times archive. You will have to pay a fee to read the
full articles.

However, after searching the Los Angeles Municipal Code, the Los
Angeles County Code, and the California Firearms Laws, I haven?t been
able to find any laws requiring gun ranges to only rent to two or more
individuals.
