Can you explain more in detail what exactly is happening to you?
How you know it is "prosearching.com"?
And what operating system and browser you are using?

I'll be happy to help you if I can.

Regards;

Prosearching.com is a variant of a hijacker known as Lop.com.

You can download an uninstall tool here:

http://lop.com/new_uninstall.exe

If running the uninstaller does not help, you may want to try BHODemon:

http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm

Please try these methods and let me know how it works out. If this
solves your problem, I'll be pleased to post an official answer to
your question. If the problem persists, we'll keep trying.

Prosearching.com attacked my browser,IE, while my computer was at
rest. It has installed an entry on the Tollbars tab under View call
beeptestview. During surfing it will replace the Google toolbar with
its damn self. On restarts it resets home page to
http://prosearching.com/passthrough/index.html?http://www.yahoo.com/.
Should be Yahoo only. Surfing speed has been definitely reduced. This
scurvy dog needs to be sent packing. thanks.

Hi hourtiss,

Have you tried HijackThis?
http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html

After HijackThis makes a log, go to
http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/
Section: "Spyware and Hijackware Removal"
Click "New Topic" and copy/paste your log into a new message. The good
folks there will help you.

When you tried adaware and spybot, did you click on the button to
fetch the latest spyware definitions first? If you do not update these
products, they are no use against new spyware.
