I need to know how books of poetry have performed on the NYT
bestseller list from 1950 - present.  Bascially, I need access to
chart archives.

Hi jackbox,

I was not able to locate the NY Times past bestsellers list. I was
however able to find an archived list of bestsellers for the years
1900-1998. This is a list of the 10 bestsellers for both fiction and
nonfiction hardcover books for the corresponding year, from
Publisher's Weekly's list of bestselling hardcover books.

Would this information be of interest to you?
