I am trying to find a person or company who would conduct phone
interviews of a list of past customers who have given me written
testimonials to create short audio testimonials I can use in my
marketing. I am in Rochester NY. Can be done long distance.

I have stumbled around google and only found one source so far: gmvoices.com.

I am also interested in ideas about how I could use the yellow page to
find something like this.

I actually have done exactly what you are talking about, but because
of Google's Terms & Conditions, I can't give myself the work.

However, I have found several audio production companies in Rochester
who say they probably could do what you need to have done.

I tried calling a few of these production companies, only one answered
the phone late on a Friday afternoon. That company was Summer
Productions. They said they'd have no trouble making the recording
that you're looking for and provide it to you on CD.

I also found this great site called voice123.com, with a searchable
database and voice samples.
