The procedure for tuning radio stations on Pioneer Stereo Receiver VSX-455

Hi sweetwillie,

I am not familiar with this particular model, but try this... it may work.

Tune to the desired station, hold preset key (1) for a few seconds.

Or,

Tune to the desired station, push the memory button, then the desired
preset, and then memory again.

Let me know if that works.

Channels 1-30.
I think I use Select button to change Jog Mode from ST to FREQ, then I
dial up on Multi Jog Dial the station I want to enter--at this point I
am probably supposed to do a procedure while on FREQ then Select back
to ST and use Multi Jog Dial to dial to the channel I want to enter on
and then use procedures to get the desired ST on the desired channel.
I have a MEMORY button and an ENTER button.
Presently, on FM, #1 channel has a station on it and #2 thru #30 have
a default of 87.50. I tried both methods you suggested, but did not
work--maybe the second part is some combination of memory and enter.

In order to preset FM/AM stations, please follow these steps:

1) Tune into the desired station using the Multi-jog button (top right
hand side of the unit).

2) Press the "memory" button (near volume and tone buttons). The
station number will then flash on the receiver's display.

3)Press "enter" button within 5 seconds in order to save the station.

Repeat same steps to enter different stations into memory and save
them. A total of 30 FM and AM stations can be preset.

Let me know if that works!

Jack, you got it. Thank you very much. I selected to FREQ and found
the station and then selected back to ST, and then did memory, then
dialed to the desired channel and hit enter within 5 seconds. Thanks
so much again sweet willie.
