The phrasing of your 2nd and 3rd questions imply that you might
be less than satisfied with an answer that does not allow for
the possibility of signing a driver without the cooperation of
Microsoft. Therefore I am reluctant to post an answer which would
clarify that only Microsoft can (legally) sign the drivers, after
they have been submitted to and tested by their staff.

Would such a limiting answer interest you?

I am more than happy to coperate with microsoft and pay fees to have
this done. My only limitation is that I do not have access to the
source code. Cost is not the factor, it is just that I can not access
the source code for this driver. If this is possible, and if there is
a service that could help me with this, a link to it would be great!

Ah. Now I see. It might be possible to write an .inf
install file for the driver and submit it for signing
*if* it were not causing errors, but given the errors,
I'm relatively certain you would need the source code
in order to obtain and apply feedback from Microsoft.

Nor am I aware of any services which can derive the
source code from the driver. Perhaps another researcher
will be more knowledgeable in this area.

jamiedolan-ga:

Microsoft will only work with the original vendor/developer of the
driver, for legal reasons (copyright, intellectual property rights).
