Greetings!

As noted in the comments, this city is a fictional one. Thus, the
population is an undefined number; you cannot have a population count
if you do not have a city.

The definitive sites about the city are:

http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/Satellite/7683/

http://abc.abcnews.go.com/daytime/onelifetolive/index.html

If you need further clarification, please feel free to ask.

You're taking this question way too seriously, and you've already
given it more time than it deserves. Just tell me this (no further
research necessary, unless you're a glutton for punishment): What size
of city would have two daily newspapers, a university and a commercial
airport, yet less than half a dozen places where people eat out?

Greetings!

Thank you for your clarification request.

Speaking only from personal experience here, since you request that I
not take the time to do the research to find market support levels for
a major airport and two daily papers, I opine that there cannot be
such a city.

One city I lived in was barely able to support a 'spoke' airport, had
one daily newspaper, and could not have supported two papers. This
was a town of 300,000 in the city limits, and another 150,000 in the
surrounding suburbs. This town also had several hundred places to
eat.

Given that the town has all of the resources you mention, espcecially
the university, I would say that it would have a minimum of 500,000
people. With a population of that size, there would be many hundreds
if not thousands of places to dine out.

Since there are fewer than 6, I conclude that this town does not
exist.

I hope this clarifys my answer.

The city of Llanview, Pennsylvania is a fictional town that only
exists on the soap opera "One Life To Live."

Are you looking for what they say the population is on O.L.T.L. or are
you looking for a real life city?

Wantstoknow-

I'd say Llanview is about the same size as Port Charles and Salem.
They likely all compete against each other in football.
