Question ID: 311518
How do I program my UR4-EXP Universal Remote control (came with
Scientific Atlanta cable box on Charter digital cable) to control my
Sony DAV-C990 DVD Dream system using the AUX or VCR buttons? I pretty
much just need a code that will work for it.

Here are the instructions for your remote control:

http://www.universalremote.com/sb/support/ur4-exp_instructions.html

If none of the codes work for you, the site linked above gives
instructions for using the auto search method to find the correct
3-digit code for your equipment.

Please let me know if this solves your problem.

Yeah, sorry, I already have the manual that came with it, which is
just a reprint of what's on that website. None of the Sony codes
work, and I also tried the auto search method and clicked the channel
up button at least 300 times and nothing worked.

Thanks for trying, but I guess I need to buy a better remote if I want
to control my home theater system with it.
