Hello madts-ga,
This is a very interesting question. I found some information, but I
am not able to fully answer your question.
Apparently the street Rufe Snow was named after Rufus ?Rufe? Snow. He
is buried in Birdville Cemetery in Haltom City, Texas. Unfortunately,
this is all I was able to find.

(Scroll down to Snow)
There was an article in the November 30, 2003 issue of the Dallas
Morning News, which mentioned Rufe Snow.
A small clip of the article, which can be found through a Google
Search for "Birdville Cemetery" "rufe snow", states the following:
?... about preserving history, said Bill Reeves, president of the
Birdville Cemetery Association. ...
The grave that everyone wants to see is Rufe Snow's," Mr. Reeves ...?

Search the archives for Birdville Cemetery.
Maybe another researcher can find more. Good luck with your search.
