Medical term that came up in one of my transcripts I'm editing:
arthroscopy "plurals" (sounds like the word "plurals") Here's how it
was used: "It could be from some scar tissue from one of the
arthroscopy 'plurals' because we have three of them around the knee."
Please help me with the word "plurals" or another word that might
sound similar. Thanks!

Dear dianer522-ga,
There are numerous references to Arthroscopic Portals (970 on Google
actually). Could this be it? If it is I will post it as an answer.

"Treating these injuries by means of arthroscopy may require several incisions
(portals) to visualize the joint from different points of view"

"The illustration....indicates the most common entry sites, or
portals, in knee arthroscopy."
