This is a 410 Gauge Pump Action Shotgun sold by Montgomery Ward. Does
anyone have any more info? Who actually made the gun and when? Maybe
by Serial Number?

Do you have a serial number for the shotgun?

Different manufacturers (Savage, Stevens, Mossberg, etc.) made
the "house brand" Western Field firearms for Montgomery Wards.

Not that I can see. There is a patent # and a small star with the #763
nearby. If there is a serial number it's worn away. It does have
inexpensive etchings of ducks and hunting dogs on it.
