I am looking for more information regarding the difficulty certain Mac users when trying to access our secure pages. AndyTga supplied the results of trying a list of different mac browsers on a mac running a variety of MacOS 9.x versions. Today's question is: Can you expand on these results to discover whether turning browser support for TLS on and off may help/hinder some of the tested browser versions when trying to access our secure pages? Refer for background to: https://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=29604 Thank you all :) |

Seems OFF is the preferred method. Supporting URLs: http://developer.netscape.com/evangelism/docs/technotes/tls-ssl3/ http://www.safescrypt.com/faq/faqbrowser.htm http://www.westpactrust.co.nz/olcontent/olcontent.nsf/Content/Common+questions *hope this helps* -AI |
