I am looking for a photo of a Tornado that has two funnels. The
Indians call it "Deadman walking". Inside the Tornado there appears to
be a man walking. One of the science channels had it on a few years
ago.The legend goes if you see this type of tornado you will die.

Hi kclp!!

Thank you for asking to Google Answers and, with this, give to us the
opportunity to help you.

I found a photo that meets your request (I hope).
Please visit the following page, and see the image, it is both,
amazing and scary. The image come from the F5 that hit Jarrell, Tx. on
5/27/97, it was an historic weather event:
"Chase-1 - dedicated to the Texas Severe Storms Intercept Chase Team"
http://www.chase-1.com/

See also the "TSSI Storm Photos" page at this site:
http://www.chase-1.com/stmphotos.htm

The folowing document is a report on the series of tornadoes which
struck central Texas on May 27, 1997, including the Jarrell's F5:
"The Central Texas Tornadoes of May 27, 1997":
http://www.srh.noaa.gov/cwwd/serviceassessment/assessment/jarrell.pdf

On the 12th page (page 3) you can read:
"Actual time of the Jarrell tornado?s development was hard to pinpoint
but is believed to be between 3:15 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. Initially, the
tornado was quite weak and small, probably being no more than F0 or
F1. The tornado moved slowly south-southwest, crossing into Williamson
County at approximately 3:25 p.m. Shortly thereafter, the tornado
explosively strengthened, becoming a multi-vortex F5 tornado before
moving into the Double Creek Estates ubdivision on the west side of
Jarrell at 3:40 p.m. Here, devastation was complete."

You can also see the following image from "SkyPix Photo Gallery:
Tornadoes" called "Two Funnels":
http://www.stormeyes.org/tornado/SkyPix/belmont7.htm

The link to the complete gallery is, "SkyPix Photo Gallery: Tornadoes":
http://www.stormeyes.org/tornado/SkyPix/skypixt.htm

Search strategy:
"two funnels" tornado
"dead man walking" tornado

I hope this helps you.

Best regards.

We are looking for the actual film of "dead man walking." The footage
was on either TLC or Discovery channel back in 2000/2001 as part of
their tornado series. Thanks........
