I am looking to format the harddisk, and the OS am useing is windows
2000, windows 98 & windows xp.

Hi again maxi_prince-ga!

As regards to your original question above, I have already answered
your question. But I also found these interesting articles and it
seems that reinstalling the Windows system is a good bet as well if
you don't want to reformat. You will need the full version cd of the
particular Windows version you possess.
