Sometimes when using the Find feature in Dreamweaver MX 2004, I get the following error and then Dreamweaver crashes: -------------------- While executing DWShortcuts_HTMLSource_Find_Replace command in menus.xml, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred: exception throw in native function -------------------- And then from then on everytime I use the Find feature, Dreamweaver crashes. If I re-install though, then it will solve the problem - until the problem comes back again. What can I do to permanently solve this problem? It is extremely frutstrating and I am willing to spend money in order to get this fixed, but as long as the problem is fixed permanently. Thanks in advance! |

Dreamweaver MX gunks up the registry with old search dialogue values. I found the answer at http://www.forum4designers.com/archive12-2004-7-99718.html Just delete all Q* values from: HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2025429265-1897051121-682003330-1003\Software\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX 2004\Find And Replace |
