Hello, presistant!
I understand your concern and offer my sympathy. However, I need some
additional clarification from you.
You have asked a researcher to "Help me file a good solid claim..."
GA researchers cannot take the place of or substitute for legal
advice. Therefore, can you clarify more directly what a researcher
might do for you? Would you like references to attorney's in your area
who might be willing to work with you? (If so, where in Colorado do
you reside?) Have you already contacted an attorney? Are you wondering
what claim you might file against the owner of the truck? Were there
witnesses or do you have the owner's name?
Please clarify what ways you believe a researcher might best be able
to help. What information can we seek out for you? Please be as
specific as possible, and think of any and all possibilities that we
can do to assist you "on this end."

One more thing - When did this accident occur?
And again...have you previously tried to seek out an attorney, and do
you know the name of the driver? (Please don't tell me the name...I am
just wondering how much information you have concerning the accident)

presistant-ga,

I have made a phone call to a Colorado law firm that says there is a
good liklihood they can help you out in filing a personal injury
lawsuit, even if the victim does not have health insurance.
However, you must know the driver of the vehicle that hit the victim
(obviously), and the accident must have taken place within the last
two years.
Please get back to me concerning the issues I have asked about, and
please be as specific as you can.
Thanks!

presistant,
You may clarify your answer even though I have it locked:

"..you are able to 'clarify' your question at any time, even when it
is locked by a researcher. Clarifying your question is a good idea if
you want to add new information to help the Researcher or if you think
rephrasing your question will make it easier for the Researcher to
answer. To clarify your question, go to "My Account" and select "My
Unanswered Questions." Choose the question you wish to clarify. Select
"Clarify Question" in the question field to open the clarification
window. Click "Post Clarification" once you've completed adding your
new information."

I have ALL info on the accident report and the insured was ticketed
for carless driving.I went took pictures of the scene initially and
then went back and used the same time line and shot how the flow of
traffic was. I have letters of the missed time and missed
opportunities for over time and on one the missed chance for her
review with a increase and a new position. I have all reimbursement
logs for all whom have had to care for her and clean and food shop and
get a phone and walk the animals and bath her etc. She has no family.I
have her orig statement that she gave to the ER. upon entering the
ER. I have the report that she is 0 weight bearing. I have a fair
understanding of the"TORT" law that replaced "PIP". I have all medical
recordes so far from the hosp,as well as x rays,MRI's etc. I know the
name and coverage the driver has. A Atty did try to become involved
for a large %. We are learning since this is unique as my friend does
not have a car or insurance offered by either job that its a firm
case. It was stated to me by the claims adj. that there is no protocol
for this, that they will have to talk to the powers that be. I have
written and spoken to the State Dept of insurance for this
state, asking for attention in this case for dispersments ahead as
there is no other car, just the victims body part. Just looking for any
added heads up before formulating "BASE FORMULA" which is seperate
from medical recovery. Thanks again.. I just want what she deserves as
her live is no longer and will no longer be the same. This times by
age and loss is hopefully going to give her a chance to stay a float.
Thank You so much again.
